Cheers all, unfortunately don't have a contact for TPS. I will look into Gates as i've heard them mentioned before. Is there anything else i need bolts etc. or does the Cambelt kit usually cover everything needed?

I would never buy from autodoc again, they have a practice of sending out a totally different brand than ordered after you've placed the order - calling it an "upgrade" when really it's their own cheap brand stuff. Happened to me and I googled it to find it's really standard practice.  I did get my money back in the end but it was a total ball ache.

Mk5 General Area / Re: Mk6 tsi abs pump coding
« Last post by theking021 on April 25, 2024, 08:27:39 am »
Hey guys, really need your help. I got an VW MK6 GTI 2010 which i only recently purchased and I have the 01130 Implausible Signal error as well as 01276 ABS hydraulic pump error.

Now i looked at the pump itself and on the physical part sticker it shows part # 1K0 614 517 BB and when i scan it using a tool it shows part #: 1K0 907 379 AM and ESP MK60EC1

Now what does this tell you. I can see the lines on the pump have never been undone so i cannot see it being changed at some stage.

I dont have VCDS but could get my hands on one. What would i be able to do? Just need some advice. Much appreciated in advance.

hey  :driver: all new to this forum  had golf mk5 a year n know  about mk5 and 4 platform
got a jetta tdi bxe

yes yes i know ticking time bomb

anyway im.adam from the scotland area of lanarkshire
come from the vauxhall svene still have an astra mk4 coupe too

gather more info and knowledge to go asz arl pd130 150 got the mechanical knowledge and expertise for cam and crank sensor differences
how good is the 130/50 ecuwiring different from the 105 plugs etc

logic dictates run full engine and matching ecu wiring if possible but have an inclin the 105 16 ecu can do everything a 130/150 can do but what is the limiting factor between them

is it possible to keep bxe ecu wiring on the asz arl for ease

also what 6speed box code can a mk5 jetta  use ie  mk4 golf o2j 02m o2s  or a3 tt quattro (2wd swap)
thanks in advance

If you have a way of getting from TPS the genuine cambelt kits come out very reasonable!

Second project within a week was fitting a set of Bilstein B8 shocks. I was already running H&R springs so they should work well together from what I’ve read. Opted for the MK5 shocks as it’s not a daily driver. I’ve been for a short drive round the block and first impressions are very good. The car is sitting approx 10mm higher than before but it’s not had much chance to settle in so will check it again once it’s been on a longer drive.

Can't see any issues - personally I went with Gates.

Any opinions on whether this kit would be ok to use rather than genuine?

Any update please? Mine faced the same problem. PRNDS flashing, yet still runs ok. But I fear will deteriorate later.
