As you know we have moved to a more reasonably priced server.

I have setup this PayPal pool. Don't go crazy  :rolleye:  I think the hosting will cost 20 to 25 a month but maybe less.

I would also like to add an anti spam subscription which will cost 8 a year. DONE

I’ve always used the large metal clip that you take off of the air intake hose when removing the engine cover. Just pull up... works like a charm every time

Spark Plugs

Do people usually recommend NGK BKR7EIX plugs for the MK5 GTI? Thinking of these and the R8 coils from awesome GTI but not sure the r8 coils actually do anything, more just for styling?

I introduced a similar sound when I swapped my front suspension with new stock springs and shocks and Febi top mounts and top mount bearings. I have VAG top mounts and bearings sitting in my shed waiting to be fitted (Along with lots of other bits) in the hope of sorting the noise.

What make were your top mounts and you say you torqued them correctly, did you orientate t

So have driven a further 500 miles with no issues/lights on dash but a scan with obdeleven still shows a fault with the steering module. Took off the steering wheel plastics and everything seems ok, connection is tight etc.

Anyone have any ideas what to do next? As I say it just seems too much of a coincidence for it to fail just after changing the ignition switch which

At the time I had no choice but to pay the steelers. My nsf door wouldn't open from the I side or outside so I couldn't get to the bolts to take the door skin off. When the drivers side started failing I replaced it myself before it was too late and for a total cost of around £40.

It could be they purchased the wrong fob and the alarm in operating on the wrong frequency, hence why it's been discarded and forgotten. I purchased the wrong one for a friends VW Caddy and after I realised my mistake it has sat in a drawer since. I believe they can be 434Mhz or 433Mhz and USA use 315Mhz, probably others too. Just a guess.

Yesterday I replaced my old climatronic controls with the ECON button
