Pricey (based on miles and Cat N status) but maybe you could offer lower and rebuild

£8.5K!!! It should have been scrapped imo. The frame rail on the passenger side will almost certainly be bent. You'll never sell it again.
ED35s aren't special enough to save anyway imo. Worth saving a MK6 R, but not that. Probably the blandest special edition, visually, VW have ever produced.

I agree with you, I've seen alot less damage on cars result in tracking issues or chassis parts twisted.

If it's so easy to repair, then you gotta wonder why the seller is listing in this state and not doing the work himself........

I did far less damage in my previous BMW e46 320d when I was run off the toad and his a grass bank. They replaced the shock, wishbone, track rod end, springs and topmounts. The car was never the same, tracking was always out, the difference in camber between both sides was approximately 1.5 degrees but it seemed enough to ruin it. I suspect the strut tower was ever so slightly out. It wasn't a write off, god knows how bad something like that would be.

difficult to repair that one
