Hi all
Ive just noticed that there are lots of flies in my mk5 headlights, i'd really like to empty them and clean them while im at it but have no idea what i need to do to clean them!
any help please?
thanks

In the headlight unit? Did you make a little window and leave it open?!?!?!?
The headlamp unit should be sealed almost completely. The only time when they would be exposed is when changing bulbs. Are you definitely sure they are in and not on the unit?
-
And are the caps on the back of the unit in place?
The only thing I could suggest without taking the headlights off the car is to get the Hoover on them. Might do the trick

Hey Guys,
I had a spiders web in mine!
I blasted it with a air line, done the trick and now look as it should :happy2:
Got to be worth a go?......... I worked for me
-
yep, air line is another good one.
Trouble, probably 1 in 50 people probably have one!
-
i have a spider called graham that lives inside my wing mirror
industrious little fella considering i remove the web across the mirror daily for him just to rebuild it. I'm not allowed remove it as my daughter wont let me... impressive watching him hang on mid repair whilst bombing down a dual carriageway too
-
hes only hanging on cos of the V6 Noise!
he hates the white. If it was an Ed30, he'd be gone!
-
Nah its because the V6 aint got enough power to remove him :signLOL:

^^^No, I don't mind insects. They do very little, if any, harm.
It's mice and rabbits and other things that like to chew through wiring and pipes etc that you need to worry about!
-
arh yes those rampant ole Rabbits
