Sorry to be a bore, but I am getting a few complaints about sig pic sizes (being over sized) from members who I have previously asked to resize. I must admit there are some huge ones creeping in of late. :fighting2:
So with this in mind. Signatures/Avatar's are allowed and can be added to your profile. Signature images should be no bigger than 450 pixels wide x 150 pixels high and not contain any inappropriate material or text which could cause offence to other forum users. Only approved traders or by prior agreement may members advertise via there forum signatures.
Can all members who don't comply please resize your signature pics please. I shall be removing oversized ones as I go along and I haven't the time to PM everyone to tell them where there pics have gone. :drinking:
Also from now on, no more forum name changes unless temporally for a joke. One it is a ball ache doing it, two; it poses security issues.

You shouldn't have to explain. It's in the rules.

D'oh. Just re-measured mine and found it's above size. Off to cut it down. :happy2:

Mine is 300 x 250. Is that ok? What I lack in length, I make up for in girth! :signLOL:

Just realised mine's oversized! Am certain I set it to the correct size. Will fix.

TC... i made mine smaller the other day for this exact reason. It ends up being a distraction to the thread.! :happy2:

Guys it is not a big problem, I would say don't go off the figures above in my first post because each puter seems to work it out differently. I would say a couple of inches as we look at it is enough, Obviously it is the height not the width that is a problem. MK5 GTIAN yours i would say is right on the limit. :smiley:

I tried to find it the other day to check the exact 150 x 450 px advice on forum sigs and it had become buried in Random Chat.

It is a sticky, and gets read here in random chat. Non of our new members read ( it seems ) the forum guidelines in the new members section or indeed not many of our time served members read them in that section, probably because they only go in there to say hello. :rolleye:

"Time served members" sounds rather like serving time as in 'Porridge' as an involuntary guest of HM Prison Services! I prefer to think of this forum as a 'Hotel California' (as in The Eagles song lyrics) where you can check out but can never leave! But where is the sex, drugs, n rock-n-roll Room Service?

First time I've ever attempted a signature or anything like this to be honest so I've not a clue if it's going to turn out right, if not I appologise and will try my best to rectify :happy2:
