Title: Cigarette lighter phone charger

Hi,

Does anybody know if there’s anything I can do to make my phone charger work in the cigarette lighter? It’s an 06, 55 plate.

Just buy a fag lighter USB adapter and it should work?  It only works with the ignition on though.

Make sure it's a high amp. 2.4amp will be fine. Anything less won't charge it whilst in use. I.e sat nav.

So, the cigarette lighter does work, it just won’t charge my phone. I’ve tried all manner of different types of plug. Can I just chuck a bigger fuse in?? There’s a 12v socket in the boot which charges a phone. Not too convenient though...
