I know Michelin PS4 are the tyre of choice around here.
Anyone tried the new TR1 Toyos? Can get a pair for £120 from Demon Tweeks on eBay.

Currently running Rainsport 3s on the front of the Edition 30 and they're getting low.

I have run these for a while very happy their grippy, quiet great in the wet and best of all I got the last pair £70 each fitted

Sounds good, just waiting for a pair to be delivered from DT. :happy2:

I've ran these before on a few cars, an ok tyre for the money but wasn't lasting long, like 8k on them?
this time of year id be chucking rain sports back on, £60 a corner atm on camskills, (225/40/18)

Rainsports on an Edition 30?? Obviously not your main car then, or the missus's? They are frickin awful tyres.
Anything less than a PS4 is sub par imo, and experience. Given the deals on PS4s, it's silly not to, and they are better than the Rainsport in the wet....and in a completely different league in the dry.
They are the tyre of choice because they're the best in that price/performance bracket.

I found the Rainsports great in the wet tbh, only stage 1 310hp/404nm.
The Toyos have much thicker sidewalls than the Uniroyals and can feel more direct steering straight away.

Good stuff. That is my main gripe with the Rainsports, the soggy sidewall. Not great in the summer months. Rainsports are good in the wet for sure, but the likes of the PS4 have equalled or surpassed that level of wet grip now.
