Evening all,
Last Saturday when we had the mega hot day, i started the car and put the A/C on Low and full blast. Left the car for 5-10 mins as it was baking, but when I returned the AC was blowing Hot. Drove the car for 5 mins, turning the blower on and off, but it didn't alter anything (By now I am melting!!! :phew: :phew:) Turned the blower off again, left for a minute and then turned back on - Hey Presto the A/C kicked in and I was saved from heat stroke :jumpmove:
Anyone have any idea what this issue could be as i'd of thougtt that the A/C should kick in within a minute or less once its switched on and irrespective if the car is stationary or being driven?
Cheers
Louie

Anyone???
-
Need VCDS on it to see what the car is seeing/registering when the A/C is not kicking in as it should - not to mention any fault codes etc.
Could be low pressure, could be the pump (common) - could be a number of things
-
No fault codes and used VCDS to check

VCDS to check what? Checked the pressure reading? Checked the car is registering the air con request? checked the car is requesting the pump engage? Its probably the pump

Thanks Dan
I just did an OBD scab. Can you advise what I need to test in VCDS as assume it’s in the HVAC section?? I’m not over familiar with VCDS

Yes, you need to scan the HVAC :happy2:

Try calibration/reset 👍
