Title: '10 Scirocco- Mk5 or Mk6 electrics?
Post by: Lyons on July 03, 2015, 10:05:38 pm
Does anyone know if a 2010 Scirocco R has Mk5 or Mk6 Golf wiring? I'm trying to ascertain if a Rev A cruise stalk from a Mk5 will fit as I know it won't work in a Mk6.

I know they have white highlines and the Mk6 wheel, but there's something in my head making me think there might be Mk5 bits to it.

The chassis is a mk5 but I'd suspect a 2010 Rocco will be similar to a mk6 as the mk5 went out of production late 2008 (I believe). If the later version also works with a mk5, would it be better to play it safe?

I think I'm right in saying this but I may be talking rubbish..... If the Rocco has white MFD and it can display the convenience menu (lights etc etc) it is MK6 based with a BCM and not a CECM. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but it's a good place to start
