However, as others have said, I would not have these seats without having a secure garage. I had a set of mkiv R32 seats stolen out of my mkiv 1.8t- we're not in a bad area, but they were brazen. 6 houses look over our driveway. They turned off all the interior lights in the car, moved the sensor on the security light so it wouldn't trigger - not sure how easy seats are to fit in the mk5, but very easy to remove on the mkiv...

They look better and the alcantara won't burn you in summer like full leather will and you won't slide around so much in the seat.

I'm not in the market for them...just shared Nat's posting which I just saw before seeing this, the OPs post.

When I wrote "I'm in the U.S."...those words weren't necessary. I only meant to say I an not in the UK but I believe Nat is.
