The original tyres on my low mileage 5 year old MK 6 are showing signs of cracking. Some debate with friends on whether to replace. I’m thinking better safe than sorry.
Any recommendations on what type to look for. I put the car reg into Blackcircles website and it came up with 2 different size options. Not sure which is best.

Do you know what size is fitted to the car?
What's your budget?
-
I will go and have a look.
£400. Just been looking at Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3.
-
I've just had the Good Year Supersport F1s on mine (£105 each) fantastic tyres in 225/40x18

That’s where the Goodyear came up https://www.tyrereviews.com/Tyres_For/Volkswagen/GTi-Mk6.htm

Probably an old page, as they do the 5s now.
-
Yes, joint 1st with Pilot Sports. Had them on my MK5.

Don't know, is that Pirelli?

Not sure, haven't had Pirellis on a car since the P600 and P6000 from the 1990s
