Title: Mk5 GTI P0123 Issue
Post by: Jcarl96 on November 08, 2021, 08:41:22 am
Hello,
So I have had the P0123 fault pop up. Have done the usual checks on VCDS and
Decided that my throttle body sensor was stuffed so I Changed the throttle body for a used one. I still have the same issue. Any time I put the engine under load the TPS is reading 99% and is stuck there until I unplug the TPS and adapt and clear fault codes. I have seen that it could be an issue with wiring but I’m not sure what/how to test.
I have noticed I have a intermittent misfire cylinder 1 which I have a Coil pack coming for as spark plugs are under 150miles new.
Have done tests on the pedal Sensors and they are within range. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
