Title: New to photography DSLR recommendations please

Hi all, I am hoping to get into taking photos as a hobbie in my spare time and to get some nice shots of my car and nice scenery ect, I have seen canon now have the 760D out and was wondering if this would be a good camera to purchase? Or any other reccomendations welcome many thanks

Don't worry about the camera too much. It's the lenses. I use a 100d and have done for about 4 years.

I will move to a full frame soon.

Go into a shop and try out the dSLRs. Get a feel for which one fits best in your hand. Look for intuitive controls. In the beginning, you think it's about having the camera. After you master photography, you know it's about skill and manipulating the light and not about which equipment you have.

Working in the industry for over 10 1/2 years I would reccomend getting a reasonable camera (760D would do just fine), a 50mm f1.8 STM or 50mm f1.4 USM lens or 35mm f2 USM. The thing that will make the difference is watching lots of You Tube video's and get some half decent software and learn it well. You don't need photoshop or lightroom but Affinity Photo would be a really good alternative but again learn it well.
