Morning !
Have done nothing particularly special to get this fault, but i now have - "01589 - Igniter For Head Airbag, Passenger Side (N252) Upper limit Exceeded - MIL ON" DTC in the airbag module.
I cannot clear it, it returns, i have had the battery OFF left for 20 mins, removed the seat plugs and checked the connections there, they are sound and NOT damaged/corroded etc.
Can anyone offer some advice?
Thanks

Is not related to the seat airbags..... its the "Igniter For Head Airbag, Passenger Side " so i would start to look there.

Any guess on where that lives ? as in in the rear or front of the headliner?

I imagine it the one that runs up the A pillar.

The connect for the igniter is at the rear of the car

Great stuff, assume in the rear quarter?
-
No, behind headlining. Right in the middle of the rear I’ll try and google a photo, sort of inline with the aerial but online the outer edge

Disconnect and reconnect the igniter and DTC is gone.
