Title: Ferodo Brake Pads
Post by: H4MXU on May 14, 2019, 11:37:34 am
Looking to purchase a set of front Ferodo DS2500 brake pads for my MK5 GTI.

Are these the correct ones with correct part number? https://www.demon-tweeks.com/uk/ferodo-competition-brake-pads-ds2500-compound-ferfcp1765h/

Also, would Brembo discs complement them well? Or would it be fine to run them on standard discs?

I bought these which fit my Edition 30:

Ferodo Front DS2500 Compound Brake Pad Set - FCP1641H

Not sure if the Gti brakes are the same size?

Also bought Brembo discs, both combined has really improved the braking. If you get the Ferodo pads be prepared for squeaky brakes!!

Also have DS2500 pads for front and rear wheels..

I use Porsche 986 calipers on front and they squeal - so will replace it to other brake setup since this drives med crazy hehe
