Title: New Pirelli owner
Post by: MDMA on February 04, 2019, 12:00:13 pm
Just signed up. Bought a Pirelli back in June 2018. Both previous owners were members here. Slowly bringing it back to "as new" condition. Doesn't need much, just a few little things.

Have a thread going on PH. Once I get Wi-Fi connection, I'll try and get some pics up.

Had a quick look on your PH link. Superb! I didn't know that they were quite so rare

Nice to see comment from a previous owner too. I think that you could be a handy contributor on here - it has gone a bit quiet lately, but usually someone to help out with any problems. It's a great resource.

Please, more pics and info, when you have time.....

Cheers :happy2:

Great purchase, well done!

I have read a lot about this car over the years Ive been on here and also seen it at the piston heads GTI meet a few years ago..
Lovely Pirelli, get some genuine Xenons up front and it will look and light the road up even better, one of the best things I did to my Pirelli, amongst one or two other things  :happy2:

Welcome. Is it "Bodyboarders" old car. Silver one? If so you got a nice one! He lives in the same town as me so met a few times to buy parts. I've got the Bilstines that were on his car to go onto mine at some point!

I do remember this car and it was always a great example. That said, I can’t help but feel that it is a shame its owner has contributed little more than a few ‘it’s for sale’ posts over the past two years. Hopefully it will find a good home.
