Title: inlet manifold clean

As above this is being done in a couple of weeks.
Anything else i should consider doing while this is being done, any modifications ?

Can do runner flap delete, also have all the injectors cleaned.

I spoke to Dan at Turners who said its not worth doing at stage 1 remap,it would cause a lumpy tickover.
I will look at getting the injectors cleaned for now.

I didn’t have mine deleted at the time as I was only stage 1 myself, will need new o rings for the injectors as well once you remove them.

having a new thermostat fitted while this job is being done.Is it easier to get at with the manifold off

Super easy to get at with the manifold off

It put an extra £101 on the bill..£60 labour,the rest thermostat + seal.

What the hell £60 to change that. Id have thought a nice mechanic wouldn’t put labour on changing the thermostat if the manifold is off anyway :-(

Just find a better mechanic for when you next need one
