Nah, IMO naffsville central mate! There are cars this type of mod was made for but IMO not a VW :scared:

I didn't say no straight away :grin:, as it's perhaps something that may look better in the flesh (if really subtly done via a gentle backlight), not that I would do it LOL

It wont really work as you would want to, as the "GTI" badge on the front has a back plate.

Sounds like a bit of fun, for a mate (many many years ago) I wired up the red led from him alarm in to the peugeot lion badge, so it looked like Lion's eye was flashing red :ashamed: :laugh:

I keep seeing lots of trucks with loads of blue lights on the front!?!?!? From a distance it does make you wonder till you see its a truck!

When I get round to it, I'm gonna rip off Bobo's sig and make a better one.
As for the red glow, I wanted a red scanner light like in knight rider but got blasted. Ditto for painting the red stripe lime green. I do think a 'blue' glow would go well behind the badge.
What would be better is to use a multi-coloured led that you can adjust from inside the car to difference colours, so when the police pull you over, you can change the colour (or turn it off).
