Just bought this 56 manual GTi , pretty basic spec i think , arm rest and Xenons, 18 " monzas painted silver, 118,000 miles, fsh, had the front wings done and all the major issues sorted out by last owner, it drives so well for it's age ,may switch to 17s in due course, better ride apparently, you guys tell me??? Had a 55 red DSG many moons ago but fancied a manual this time, come from a MK7R. Gonna try and keep it standard but know how you can get carried away with mods!!!!

I’ve just bought a 55 plate silver GTi too. Will be seeing how you get on with yours too.

Wheels given a refurb back to original diamond cut finish and coated with Gyeon rim to help keep the dreaded white worm at bay for a while!

This is such a good looking car, I used to have an 06yr reflect dsg and I loved it, have a model Yr 08 now 3dr
Did u fit the brake upgrade? Or done when you bought the car

Ahh noway, I just bought a silver MK5 and initially I was looking for a set of 18" Monza's until I saw those. They definitely are one of the best looking!
