she is in for service today and the springs and wheels will get re aligned.
3rd june -remap to 245 bhp
10th june- side skirts and rear bumper colour coded/blacked out rear badge and black hella lights from orange tuning being fitted!!
also plastic mask for grill ordered from orange.-chasing local carbon wrap guy today
and got plans for topcats magnetic number plate in process- will only take off every so often as old bill round here are bit swift off the mark lol!
what else?
oh and the crome interior peices are on order from italina guy on ebay 24 squid for 10 items.
and carbon mirrors in july
still looking for arm rest- phoning local breakers etc and watching ebay!

long term
reiger front spoiler
devil riviera 19" rims- looking to blag money for xams to get them!
carbinio induction in sept?
and if stone chips get too bad then eventually a carbon wrap on the bonnet
phew... dont wanna even add that lot up and if my GF comes on here to check up on me and  sees the cost she.ll go mars bound! :scared:

been busy today
removed the engine cover and primed it ready for the golss next week.
but had time to play a little

Although Awesome GTI sell them...not sure if they are listed on their website but I saw them in the showroom.

I don't like the red bits under the bonnet but I do like your exterior front redness - The red inners to the VW badge work very well because of your red spoiler - Looks devilish :evilgrin:

i like it but i,m still not sure and i bought the blacked badge from dubstop in the states $33 delivered.am ordering another so i can change it if i dont "feel" this one!!
i masked off the top and sprayed the insides but the tape leaked and it scuffed the top. if i cant get it smooth and clean looking then i scrap it.
i,m still unsure about the battery cover top lol :chicken: but i,ll live with it and then see.
then engine cover will be red but if i dont like it i,ll get it done gloss black.
remap today..... :jumpmove:
and colour coding on side skirts and rear bumper next week.
dark rear lights and carbon mirrors shells the follwing week,........
and poss carbon front grill by end of june hee hee!! been quoted 70 max to cover the plastic grill mask on order from orange by local company(thanks joesgti)
check out sjsdesigns on the driftworks forum if youre interested!
so a busy and espensive month, then i better take a month or two off of the spending...... oh except fot  new number plates hee hee :rolleye:

im loving that matsu,

ive just picked up mne on saturday and ive been looking at the red lip on a couple of black GTI's on here and love it, did you do it yourself or get someone else to do it??

like the black badge too, not thought of that  8)

 gotta take it off to redo the front-might even try the carbon fibre film i bought from demon tweeks-if tis not right i dont want it.

hi southy.
 it was a solid black one from dubstop in the states... i should have used the original and took that apart but i wanted to keep a chrome on ....just in case!
i got another on order hee hee so i can redo this one and get it right.
i quite like the idea of being able to change things about....

bol##>s... the wind caught my door and swung it open and it hit the metal bollard in the car park and dented right on the edge!
am having the bumper and side skirts coded on tues. am hoping he can do summink.
german rear number plate arrived today
as did my carbon shells for my mirrors
 and my dark dectane rear tails.
but the mask i ordered from orangetuning wasnt a mask just bloody sticky plastic... so gonna order the carbon one from ebay :ashamed:
my bling for the knobs and switches arrived today and them and my crome footplate from gulf is going on at wkend  :jumpmove:
anyone got simple way of fitting it-will self tap screws hold it rather than the mini bolts he supplied with it? :chicken:-newbie!!

hi guys
a few new things moving this end..
got some dectane rear dk lights from orange tuning- they were left hand drive so i couldnt put the inside bits on as the fog light by law has to be on the offside,so ive been told :ashamed:
the carbon mirror things i orderedfrom there turned out to be just shells and they didnt fit anyway :sad: :mad:
i have emailed him but no response as yet.
 ive got my yellow lamin x for the fogs-to be done this wkend
have orederd grey smoke lamin x for the inner rear lights short term to match with the dectane ones
german plates on this wkend
along with the carbon grill mask-same as joesgti from china...
and the magnetic plates ala TC(fanx for all the help)
plastidip matt black the rear vw boot emblem this wkend
then engine cover should be finished gloss red by wkend and refitted.i am going to use blutac or plasticene to "mask" off the paint so i can gloss black the fsi in the enging cover.
i also redid the red vw badge in the front- i used plasticene to fill in the holes so i could re black the front.
guy who does the colour coding on the bumpers been off sick last few weeks so blew me out, but hasty phonecall on monday will see the girl booked in for the spraying.
so new pics in a week or so should see her looking a bit different from the last ones.
bit pissd off about the mirrors and the lights but what can ya do!!!

i,ll get some better pics of rear on sunday as the lights will be done and ive plasti dipped the rear badge-it was a one peice alli top and not a two part so i couldnt get a 3d effect as some of you have done...
will be colour coding the bumpers by the end of july!!! :embarrassed:

i took them on my phone and sent them to my 16yr old son to get on a computer,and they came back that small
 can i resize them or does he have to do that......aaagggghhh techno phobe!

am pleased with fact i have done all these bits as i,m a complete newbie with cars. me old dad is amazed that i,m getting involved.... and still quietly pisses himself when i tell him i intend to get a mk2 project car in the new year!
