Title: mk5 gti dsg key will not turn in the ignition

key will not turn in the ignition and no steering lock any help on this would be much appreciated thank you

Are you trying to start it or trying to remove the key? If it’s to remove the key - need to make sure DSG is in Park. Had my wife once phone me when we first got it to say she couldn’t take key out and I walked her through that she needed to put gear into Park before it would release.

Sorted now had to buy new ignition barrel and housing from scrap yard thanks for the reply
