Title: PCV valve warranty

Just noticed an article on a USA forum https://changegears.wordpress.com/tag/pcv-valve/ (https://changegears.wordpress.com/tag/pcv-valve/)that mentions faulty PCV valves being covered under warrenty.
Anyone know if it ever applied over here?

Hi mate,
Generally speaking I don't think the UK gets the fairness that the States are afforded regarding fault/warranty claims. The PCV isn't an expensive item thankfully....to test yours, while the engine is ticking over, momentarily take off your oil filler cap, if the motor stumbles your PCV is fine - replace cap straight away.
