Title: Engine cover
Post by: guyrocks on August 16, 2015, 04:22:28 pm
Right finally got me hands on a engine cover so thought I would get the grinder out......(https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.tapatalk-cdn.com%2F15%2F08%2F16%2F23711926737e97de7b4f9e178a765539.jpg&hash=a74ecd2c77b2003c0e8ace29bc88e7766b11900e)

So after a few bits come off I finally got it fitted. So now it fits I can go see me painter to sort it out (https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimages.tapatalk-cdn.com%2F15%2F08%2F16%2F327e25c0339e6836675237fa363ed419.jpg&hash=18d84eb2c9bb9aec44e01ca7d2ad9b59558f99f4)

Before anyone starts pointing bad bits out round the engine bay I've only had it 3 weeks so it's a work in progress

1st mod underway? :-)

Should be able to bag yourself a battery box lid from eBay or a breakers :)  Some black coolant and washer cap covers from @vRSAlex (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1981)  are a cheap and effective way to smarten the bay too :-)
