Hi
Got some Brembo discs 340mm and S3 calipers what would members suggest to use for brake pads.
Car has just had brake fluid changes by AMD. It's stage 2+
My personal options are as follows:
Not sure what to pick.
1) DS2500
2) Mintex M1144's
3) EBC Yellowstuff's
4) Tarox strada's

I has DS2500 in my Golf on S3 brakes, was very happy with them. Finished them off on track but they were great on road. Had 1144 in a different car (VX220) again excellent pads but not sure on a Golf. I shouldn't think you'll be disappointed with either. no experience of the others.

Contacted AKS and they said to use M1144's

DS2500 :happy2:

M1144's here. Excellent pad that works well but unless you can put up with the constant squeal I would find something else.

DS2500 :happy2:
DS 2500 seem hard to find for the S3 8p calipers

Think I'll forget about the EBC YELLOWS
bad reviews viewed online :sad1:

Agreed AKS like I said suggested to use these.

1144 are good but they squealed like a pig, so if noise is s factor then they might not be for you

My DS2500 squeal like hell. Wouldn't buy them again in a hurry because the noise is so annoying!

Thanks I'm running DS2500's now. Think I'm gonna go for the Mintex m1144's
