As the title, I am very interested in purchasing a MK2 LCR. After I sold my MK1 I've been itching to get back into one!
This appeals to previous owners or anyone who has ever had any experience or came in contact with one. What is your honest opinions on them? How do they compare to the the MK1, how do they compare to other KO4 turbo'd cars like an ED30 or an S3?
Also, colour. I'm pretty much made on getting Yellow, I love the colour it stands out so well and really pops when you wash & polish it. What's peoples opinions on colours and spec? Should there be anything that I should watch out for, any recalls or weak points on the car?
Any help here would be much appreciated fella's. :)

Lovely cars personally I would go blue but each to your own.

I love the exterior but the interior is typically SEAT ugly and low rent. I think Stevie Wonder designs their steering wheels lol.

Totally agree, I love the exterior look of the K1 but the dash design is diabolical.

Had an FR on an 08 plate. Agreed on the dash. Terrible thing. The face lift they did was awful too. Nothing but a cost saving exercise done badly dressed up as a face lift.
If I bought another I'd consider removing all the silver dash panels, wrapping them or something and stick some dynamat on them to deaden the resonance. It would be not quite as crap then. :signLOL:

Same as
Really put me off buying one when looking for a car.

I like them, been in a couple. Do exactly what they say on the tin - .... the tin part being reference to the interior  (compared to the equivalent GT/GTI/GTD or S-Line Audi).
The dual pipes on the different Cupra models IMO look 10x better than any of the GTI exhaust setups though and they're pretty great performance value when you compare prices with S3's and Rocco R's etc...
I think they look well and truly part of the fast VAG club with a nice set of wheels and little drop :innocent:

I love mine and its low rent interior :booty:
