Title: Any thoughts on a good boost gauge?
Post by: Rbailey88 on August 17, 2015, 10:39:04 pm
Want to buy a boost gauge and would like it to match my dash, anybody have recommendations? Love the vent pods but the prices are unreal so will be making something myself or getting a simple free standing pod. Thanks in advance for any advice :happy2:

Vent boost gauge kit with NewSouthPerformance (NSP) Boost Gauge. Back lighting matches the indigo of the dash and red pointer matches as well: http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Golf_V--2.0T/Interior/Gauges/ES1876792/

...you can see the mount and gauge in this vid of mine. Yours would differ being RH drive of course:

I'd highly recommend the new south gauges too. It's really easy to install, especially with the vent holder. I liked mine so much I installed one for the passenger too

Here's mine 60mm prosport Evo. I mated the dash pod with a window mount for a phone.
