Title: HELLO FROM TEQUILALAND
Post by: Richipaldi on August 18, 2015, 03:57:56 am
Hello MK5GOLFGTI brothers.

I am a VAG enthusiast, self-taught-amateur "still in the closet" mechanic, midage mexican fella; who just bought his first Golf GTI MKV 2009 2.0TSI DSG.

I expect to be of help later on once I acquire more experience on these brutal pieces of engineering. For the moment I will ask for your humble help, experience and knowledge.

Cheers from Tequilaland

Rich

Note: Please forgive my faulty spelling and grammar.

Awesome place & awesome people!

Welcome to the forum!

I hope you don't have many "topes" near you. They're huge and a real PITA! I've just visited Yucatán, but I think you have those everywhere...

Thank you fellas. Yes, Mexico is the land of "topes" (speed humps) and "baches" (potholes).  Our flag should have a couple of those instead of an eagle and a serpent. You fellas went to one of the most beautiful and peaceful places in Mexico. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay.
