Title: Jetta/GTI fog light grills. Rare???

I've just purchased a set of GTI grills for my Jetta.  The lower foglight grills are the first I've ever seen that actually fit the Jetta bumper as they have the strip across the top.  I'm just wondering if they're as rare as I believe as this is the only set I've actually ever seen.

Never seen those before, so I would say they are very rare.
Have they got any part number on them? where did you get them from?

Have just read the part number from your photo, 1K0 853 666 Z?

From what I can see the part number does not even exist on etka

I bought them from a guy that had imported them from the States.  I've searched the part number on google but found nothing which is quite strange.  I thought they might be custom made but having a close look at them they're OEM quality and do not look to have been chopped apart or anything and have definitely been made as one solid part.

They should be from the GLI, I suppose... :confused: Only available in the USA.

Front what I understood the GLI bumper was identical to a GTI bumper not a Jetta bumper which is why I would say these are rarer then rocking horse poop,

Out of interest how much did you pay?

You're right, GLI have the same front bumper as the GTI. :confused:

As said GLI and GTI have the same bumpers :).  I paid £50 for them with a replica GTI center and lower grill.

VERY rare indeed  Have seen these with the honeycomb centres removed with a dremel.... open fogs for a Jetta

Sounds like a bargain to me
