Title: Roof bars, golf vs Jetta ? bike rack confusion???

Right, I'm off to Gisburn again can't be putting bike in boot again. Mud all over.  :signLOL:
I'm after a set of roof bars and bike holder for my mk5 5 door. Iv had a look on here and seems mixed comments with regards to JETTA bars fitting GOLFS. (As they cheaper on eBay) Some say straight fir other say have to cut down.

Also waiting to now what bike holders to get. Thule pro rides? Will they fit OEM bars,??

I use Thule 591 bike racks and find them utterly brilliant! I also now use Thule wing bars, they work quite well. Unless it's nice and dusty an MTB isn't ideal in the boot
