Title: ED30 Forge DV Fitting

Im not very technical, bought one today and looked through instructions, instant mind F++K, are they easy to fit or is it a book it in job?

It's quite simple really, especially on the ed30 because the DV is at the front.  However if you aint confident get someone to help.

I think the instructions I got with it are for a K03 insure, it mensions turbo is at the rear of the motor

had mine fitted recently at jkm was about a 1/2 hr job for them
 
the instructions are the same for the ko3/k04 but its located at the front of then egine on the ko4

if you have an engine cover on then you will have to remove it to install, have a look at this thread shows where its located

forgive my stupidity. Yellow spring goes in the actual DV?

yeah unscrew it and you will see the spring inside

it needs lubing with the supplied stuff too

its also worth doing this once a year, take it off clean it up and re-lube

Hi Mate here is a link to a video its on a Seat Leon Cupra but i presume the DV is located in the Same place on the ED30

Should there be locktight and lube for the spring included in the kit? Cause I didn't get either

I must admit, the instructions are crap and a bit of a boggle, but if you setup all the pipes off the car that helped me.
