Im not very technical, bought one today and looked through instructions, instant mind F++K, are they easy to fit or is it a book it in job?
-
It's quite simple really, especially on the ed30 because the DV is at the front. However if you aint confident get someone to help.
-
I think the instructions I got with it are for a K03 insure, it mensions turbo is at the rear of the motor
-
had mine fitted recently at jkm was about a 1/2 hr job for them
the instructions are the same for the ko3/k04 but its located at the front of then egine on the ko4
if you have an engine cover on then you will have to remove it to install, have a look at this thread shows where its located

forgive my stupidity. Yellow spring goes in the actual DV?
-
yeah unscrew it and you will see the spring inside
it needs lubing with the supplied stuff too
its also worth doing this once a year, take it off clean it up and re-lube

Hi Mate here is a link to a video its on a Seat Leon Cupra but i presume the DV is located in the Same place on the ED30
http://leon2passion.com/tutorials-leon-2-f24/montage-pieces-forge-t2762.htm
just scroll down on the first post the vids are at the bottom
-
looks a nice product...doesnt look to hard to fit just take your time
-
Should there be locktight and lube for the spring included in the kit? Cause I didn't get either
-
I must admit, the instructions are crap and a bit of a boggle, but if you setup all the pipes off the car that helped me.
Good luck!
