No it's not it's pretty much the same as any other in that you have to find somewhere to host pictures

Yes, some other forums let you upload pictures directly. This one seems to require that the picture is already online somewhere else and just lets you post a link to that.

+1. This is the first forum I've come across where a "for sale" item was hosted on Photobox!  :fighting2:

Uploading images may be a PITA the first couple of times. But we do have a lot of features that other forums don't.

A for sale section that is set out like a catalogue rather than a list of topics you need to scroll through.

Mods catalogue, VCDS graphing. (don't know any other forums that have these).

maybe so, but first time, and, if you have not done it for a while, pictures are complicated to post

Sorry, but any forum needs use of IMG tags. It's really easy.

Apparently not for the "Needs their arses wiping" brigade.  There is the facility to enable image hosting on the forum... but unless people are prepared to pay for the privilege its unlikely to happen. Its also best to look after your own images incase something happened to the server/forum and all pics were lost.

 :popcornsoda:

IMG tags are literally the easiest thing in the world.
Want to post an image? Take the direct link ending with file format.
Put IMG tags around it.
Flickr offeres you 1TB of photos and easy copy/paste image linking.

Hey guys - let's get back on topic. :happy2:  I started reading this thread because, I was interested in seeing how well the healight refurb kit worked.

We've established pictures can't be hosted on the forum, partly due to cost involved.
Is there an easy "how to" to explain to the OP how to link to a picture hosted in Flickr or likewise?

I think the forum is great BTW.

@guyrocks (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=13781) upload images to the photo sharing site of your choice.

Copy the direct link

wrap the image link in
Code: [Select]
[img]your image here[/img]
If this does not work post the links here and i will sort it.

For the price of £27.99 and the balls to take a sander to your lights it's well worth it. Just got to keep on top of the sealer to try keep them nice
