Title: Which pads for 312mm discs?
Post by: Rasco on August 24, 2015, 11:03:24 pm
I want to go OEM+ so I'd like to get something decent but not pay theatre on a standard setup, are Pagid still good? If so which ones? Hawk? Ate? Ferodo? Help!

Check the Mods Catalogue. I use Ate standard with my R32 front brake setup and EBC Redstuff with my Brembos 18Z.

I think people here recommend Mintex M1144 most of the times.

Mintex M1144 are great, they do need a little warm up time though as they are classed as race pads.

so are the mintex ones road legal then?

Shoduchi - are the ATE ones the standard OEM parts? on ECP there are about 3 different options at vastly different prices???

Do ATE Offer a "premium" version like pagid blue...

Ate has 2 versions that I know of, regular and ceramic. Ceramic has a clearer brake dust so the wheels stay clean longer. I chose the regular version because at the time I didn't want to pay the extra for the ceramic. They give no squeals and have good cold bite. Are those 3 different options the same size?
