I've found bigger brake sizes for sale at GSF, wanted to know if I purchase a bigger size would it be a straight fit, if not what's required?
Car is a edition 30
-
how big?
Im not sure if ed30 and gti brakes are the same size.
usually, with bigger brakes means a change in calipers too
-
When I type in the plate, a few come up such as 288, 312 and 345mm
-
288mm are for Diesels or below GTI engines
312mm id for GTI
345mm is R32
-
You need different calipers to fit 345 mm (or 340 mm from Audi TTS) discs.
-
I just upgraded my fronts on my gt tdi to 345mm, needed the hole lot.
Discs, pads, hoses, calipers, carriers and shields :happy2:
-
Thanks for the info guys

It was in the 4 figures :ashamed:. I see on ebay someone selling refurbished R32 fronts. Wish I'd looks about before buying new!!
