Title: Looking for a weekend plaything/hack bigger engine the better!

Right. So as much as my MK6 GTD ticks all the boxes for a daily i feel i need something else in my life - something petrol with a disgustingly large engine and possibly 4 wheel drive. On this occasion i'm not concerned about brand, age or mileage as long as it starts, stops and is semi reliable.

If you had a budget of £1000, what would you get :)

I did have a look at a Disco just to see what they are like - good presence but took big for me :)
