Title: DA on plastic bump strips on sides

Can you use a DA polisher on the plastic bump strips that run along the side of the doors? Also can it be used on wing mirriors? I'm in the process of correcting the whole car when I have spare time and got around half done, but I missed the two parts out above as I wasn't sure but they are swirly as hell. If not a hand polish and glaze will have to do.
