Title: MK 5 buyers guide for dummies

Evening all
Finally decided to ditch the family wagon and get a car that I really want, the kids will just have to make do with less room in the back!
I've got a 6.5k budget and I basically would like to know what should I be looking out for when looking at some gti's? I've seen a 55 plate with 89k on the clock FSH, cam belt done etc but is there anything you guys would suggest I look out for.

Welcome, believe it or not the back of a MK5 is surprisingly spacious! :happy2:
