Title: Flat spot under hard acceleration
Post by: PhilNUK on September 07, 2015, 09:49:10 am
Hi guys I mentioned this is another thread but will break it out into its own thread as would love some help with it.

Basically my Ed30 drives great apart from one particular thing.  If I accelerate relatively hard then I hit a flat spot about 2/3 gear.  It is like I am hitting a rev limiter but after a few seconds it carries on accelerating.

Its done 50k miles and after a Google I am seeing MAF sensor, coil packs or plugs.

Has anyone ever experienced this? I don't get any warning lights when it happens.

Thanks for any help

nah mate. can't get hold of anyone nearby to help me out with that.

I have ordered a set of NGK BKR7EIX and some R8 coil packs today to see if that helps.

All fixed!!
Either the coil packs or plugs fixed it as went for a spin after fitting both and its sorted my issue
