Title: Quote Sizes....
Post by: RedRobin on December 20, 2008, 10:41:29 am
....

I think the default size when quoting text in a reply is about 9pt - Anyroadup, it's fecking small! (Don't forget how old I am!).

I normally size it up to 10pt, but how about having it 10pt by default? (Please)

:happy2:

Thanks guys :happy2:

Actually on my screen the current default size looks about 7pt!!

And less of that "old fella", otherwise I shall have to post yet another pic of a Babe just to show I am still young at heart!

^ Unfortunately not.

When I do it manually, I highlight the text and click the A-size icon once and it shows as 'size=10pt' and ends '/size' - In [square brackets] of course.

It might be caching the style sheet Robin on your machine as it's working on my work laptop (Windows with IE) but I will check later from home properly with my Mac.

Thanks.

....Ah!!!! Perfection! I just emptied my Cache in Safari (latest version) and all is cooool!!

Thanks for that Steve - You're a star! I'll have to post you a Special Babe! Joking apart - It's appreciated and I think has a better size relationship with the very welcome larger text size (compared with other forums) which you have chosen for main message content, etc etc etc < Why write 4 words when 400 will do!

:grouphug: Thanks SantaP :santa:

  your a star Billy thats for sure. If you quote some one it appears in a light blue box in your post, the writing is now bigger in the blue box, so the older boys with fading eyesight can read it.  :P

....

Just wanted to say thanks again - In practice I'm finding it saves a lot of time now that the quoted text sizes up automatically and I'm sure everyone will also prefer the slightly bigger size for legibility regardless of their age.
