Title: TSI K04 Best spark plugs & coils for K04 at 360bhp+

Mk6 Golf GTI with K04..

Think im needing a set of plugs so needing to know whats the proven plugs for these engines at 360bhp north?

Coilpacks really needed? If so, the usual R8? Best/ cheapest place for them?

I am stage 2+ and in oem plugs and coils, I am not aware of any need to change

Personally, I'd grab those S3 rear calipers off him too. I've met the chap who's selling this gear, he's well alright. :happy2: Bought an S3 IC off him at a good price and it was mint condition.

After a bit searching Ive fitted some NGK PFR7B as recommended by APR at stage 3, i thinki will invest in R8 coilpacks too!

I'm sure @vRSAlex (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1981) is cheaper than that ^^ for the R8 coils :)

I thought the R8 coils were the same, just red instead of black?

I can't see why a normally aspirated engine would need a stronger spark than a FI one.

If you dont know what a TSI is, you probably shouldnt be given advice on the subject ;)

Bought the NGK PFR7B spark plugs that APR recommend for stage 3 K04 and a set of R8 coils from TPS.

For the record- £149 inc vat for the R8 coil packs with a small trade discount at TPS.
