Hello,
Had an issue in the golf yesterday and it's scared me to drive it again.
Brake pedal went to the floor and stopped working for some seconds, after pumping they began working again. The power steering also seems to be stiffer all of the sudden.
There is brake fluid there. It's a 2005 golf gti. No dash lights are on.
Any ideas?

Did you have a grinding noise when the pedal went to the floor? This happened to me once :scared:

No grinding noise dude. Did this happen to you a while back or recently? Has it just stopped happening?
I'm thinking of having a brake service done just to be safe. But i'm unsure as to why my PAS is suddenly stiff too?

This happened a while ago and never since.

Maybe your master cylinder is worn. Id get it checked ASAP though

Is there any self diagnostics i can do on the cylinder?
