Title: Poor radio reception with RNS510

So i ditched the standard head unit from my October 2005 GTi and replaced it with a NAV 510 unit. But the radio reception has been worse ever since I did this. I can get most stations but it seems to lose them fairly easily.

I've checked under the drivers seat and there's no divertisy unit so I didnt think I would be affected by this problem. Any ideas?

i had similar to this when i changed mine on to an RNS 510 a few years ago!

to fix it i needed to change the earth going into the back, as it comes out of a different pin on the RNS
