Title: MBP Battery Not Charging
Post by: dazza on September 28, 2015, 08:03:37 pm
My MBP has started playing up it will not charge. Noticed under the battery icon at the top it shows Condition: Replace Now

Anyone familiar with this? Tried disconnecting the battery and battery level sensor, reset etc. Although the laptop is from 2011 it hardly gets used surely the battery cant be fooked already?

What a waste €2600

Laptop batteries left in an undischarged state for long periods tend to die prematurely.

Just bought one off ebay for £34. Apple won't sell just the battery you have to go to a  :rolleye: bar.

Ebay battery installed. The orange charging light is now working.

Will see how it compares to the battery that was in there.
