Hi all sorry if this is in the wrong place just wondered if there is any way to find out what spec a golf is without having the car to hand ?
I know with ford there is a web site you can enter reg and it gives you build spec I e if it has Bluetooth sat nav etc etc all I have at the moment is the reg ???

Sorry to tag onto your post but I would like to know this as I do have the car to hand but I seem to have different spec to what a magazine review on my car detailed

You'll need that VIN number on the sticker inside the car I'm afraid.

The sticker is located in the owners book and under the boot lining near the spare wheel.

Get the owner of the car to send you a photo of the sticker and type it in from there.

Is there any other way as the sticker in my boots is worn so at least 6/7 of the codes I cannot make out and it is not in my Service Book either

The dealer can print you off the full vehicle build spec of your car just take your V5 in and ask it's worth a try.
