Hi,

I've removed all the upgraded items I fitted to my girlfriend's GTI, so I've listed them on eBay:

How easy would it be to extend the glove box unit to my center arm rest to replace my CD changer?

Might be a silly question - I have a mfd2 and high line with MFSW will the kufatec give me the same benefits listed?

My guess is that you'd have no Phone interface on the sat nav - you should have it on the Highline clocks though. I've got it with my RNS 510, fyi.

It has quite a long lead on it, so I would have thought it would reach the centre console ok. I'm not sure what's in the glove box CD changer, so I don't know what's involved in pulling it out. I would probably just hide the iPod interface box in the console somewhere and just have the Apple lead poking out through a small hole somewhere.

Yeah, you should be able to access all the info on the display in your dash. IT works with the steering wheel controls too. It will display phone numbers and the engine info on the dash display.

Regarding the ipod kit:

Does this work with the bog standard RCD300?

In what state does it charge the ipod? Only with ignition on, or will it keep charging with the engine off and locked up?

Do you know if it's compatible with a 4th gen Nano?

Edit - just read the update on ebay and seen it's only RCD310 up.

Not with the GTI unfortunately - just reads N/A or 0.00
