Title: DSG shifting up really quick
Post by: shoaybmakda on October 07, 2015, 08:51:42 am
Hi all - just wondering if this is normal. I had my DSG service in March and since then it seems to be shifting up really quick. By the time I hit 30mph I'm already in 5th gear sometimes even 6th.

I have read in places if they have done a DSG reset it will try and learn your driving style - is this correct? It dosnt clunk or anything like that but after reading the mechatronics horror stories I guess I just wanted to check to make sure!

That's normal in D mode. It always runs in the highest gear possible when there is very little load on the engine
