Title: What Car Would You Buy With £20,000 or €27,000?
Post by: lukemk5gti on October 07, 2015, 12:06:36 pm: Another thread on this.. If you had £20,000 or €27,000 equivalent to spend on a car, what would you buy?

Only criteria is that it's somewhat economical so rule out ludicrous 4L petrol engines!

Interesting choice and a lovely looking car! Unfortunately the only ones you can buy in Ireland are brand new at €47k, no second hand ones as of yet and come to think of it, I haven't seen one on the road to date...

I'm after a C63 AMG as my next motor
£20k will do that.

I'd rather lose to an ED30 and have an M3 than be driving around in a chavved up Golf! M3's are wondeful cars but I'd skip the E90/ generation and go for the F3x one.

Modded ED30 and change / Golf R

C63 only worth getting if its a facelift imo. Doubt a modded ED30 would be faster than a C63 in any circumstances, esp a mapped C63 Prob making close to or over 500 bhp.

E46 M3 CSL was only nice one.
Even they sounded like clattery cans of crap especially when cold.
I'd take a E90 5 door any day over a E46.
And I'd have an F30 anyway over an E92.
