I've had the forge shortshift on both my .:R32's and love clicking into gears with my fingers rather than stirring porridge with my arm

worth doing  :xmaspresent:

a mate of mine has the neuspeed one on his ed30 but it had to be made to fit lol oh and just give Mat at vwr a call mate he will sort u out a shifter and tell u what u need to change on our cars  :happy2: as vw changed a few of the arms on the shifter setup to plastic crap and they dont work very well with the short shifters as they can pop out of gear and u end up with no gears  :surprised:

i think it just a golf thing mate its the plastic side to side action bar that vw changed from a metal one to a plastic one so the throw is all out

Hi
I have had a Forge Shifter fitted for over 2 years now and no problems? We only do Forge so I can’t supply a Neuspeed item but I have never had a problem with a Forge shifter and we sell 5-6 a month?

i was the first to find out about this so me and Mark Farmer of vwr compared a few gti and we said it was down the side action so we tried a rocco item first but that was too tight so i said could it be down to the old style type ie the metal one and low and behold it works and its perfect
