Title: Team Dynamics 1.2 advice?
Post by: jordan7050 on October 12, 2015, 12:20:27 am
Just been offered a set of Team Dynamics Pro 1.2 18" alloys, I've read the fitting guide which was helpful but just wanted to make sure before i destroy my wings.

They are a staggered set up:
Front: 8.0x18 5/114
Rear: 9.0x18 5/114
Believe they are ET35 but will need to confirm.

Will these fit on my MK5 GTI?
Currently running on stock suspension but looking to lower by 30mm over the coming months.

Thanks

They're 5x114 so won't fit without wobble bolts which I personally would use.

Front would need a 215 tyre and probably screw delete mod or arches rolled depending on if you're lowered and if so how much

Rears again probably a 215 with some camber and still might scrub occasionally.

To be honest I think they're not worth the hastle and they don't really work.

This is assuming ET35

Do you plan on putting bigger brakes on at anytime such as the R32/S3/R brakes or even bigger such as TTRS/Porsche/Brembo/AP/Lambo etc? If so, then take into account that some wheels may not fit over some brake setup's, if your staying with standard brakes, you'll be fine but just worth a mention incase you do go down the bigger brakes route later..

TD 1.2/1.3/1.5 will fit over massive brakes without much of a lower offset.
