Title: Highline clocks - Non MFSW
Post by: GibboVR on October 16, 2015, 08:30:49 am
Morning all,

Ive used the search facility with little joy...

I have a 06 GTi with a highline display.

I dont unfortunately have a MSFW and currently the display only shows that a half display would....

Is there anyway i can release the extra information/features from the highline display without the MFSW? VCDS?

thanks in advance, and apologies for what is probably a repetitive question.

Could be activated by your window wiper stalk trip button on the end

Have a read through here

Hold the 'up' button on the trip computer stalk - thats what i do in my Leon, brings up the setings, phone menu (factory bluetooth) etc.

I have VCDS and i'm in Cardiff if you need anything activated (Just saw your other intro post)  :happy2:

That link was spot on, ill try and access the menu when i leave work later.

Ahh brilliant Dan, i may be in touch soon once ive got my head around the options available. Thanks.

Wouldnt be interested in a complete MFSW as i probably wouldn't benefit from the use of it in relation to its cost, but could be a long term option.

You can get a mfsw for around 250 with airbag these days, steering controller module is around 40. And then someone to code and fit for you.

£210. I have an airbag too for an additional £30 if needed.

I'll be taking a few photos and advertising it over the weekend.
