Title: lumpy tickover and fluctuating revs
Post by: njdudsbury on October 16, 2015, 04:12:41 pm: Seems to run fine. Lumpy tick over and revs raise up then settle again. Any ideas what to check or change?
For info sat in loads of traffic last night, stop start for over an hour. But ran fine after on a 50 mile run

I'm putting it down to exessive Carbon build up unless there are any other commonly known issues? Replacing the PCV is really simple, a couple of push fit breather hoses and some torx bolts. Takes about 10 minutes if that. It's located at the right hand front of the engine.
